This extraordinary group of crystals is a piece from the well-known mineral collection of Dr. Josef Clemente from Ruhpolding (1899 - 1987).
He was known for his passion for the Austrian Alps, and therefore his collection focused primarily on alpine minerals from the Rauris region and the Hohentauern mountains.
Dr. Josef Clemente died on April 27, 1987 in Ruhpolding-Gruttau at the age of 88.
Perfectly formed Pericline crystals form a perfect crystal group.
In addition to their exceptional quality, the individual periclins possess a slightly beige color.
The matrix of tabular pericline crystals is also interspersed with fine Rutile crystals.
The piece was attached to a high-quality acrylic glass base with hot glue and comes with an original Lable from Dr. Josef Clemente.
