Large Quartz crystal on matrix with Rutile from Val Bedretto (14.0 cm x 10.5 cm)

An impressive group of Quartz crystals, which grew in the so-called Ticino habit and was recovered from an alpine crevice in the famous Val Bedretto region.

The surface is a breathtaking interplay of different color combinations, where the transparent Quartz blends harmoniously with some dark chlorite and reddish Rutile needles.

These unique color variations give this crystal an unparalleled beauty.

To properly present this piece of crystal, we secured it to a high-quality acrylic glass base with a little hot glue.
