Large phantom Quartz Gwindel from Val Cavrein (10.7 cm x 6.4 cm)

This clear Quartz crystal Gwindel impresses with its perfect shape and aesthetics!

It was recovered from an alpine crevice in the Val Cavrein area and is a true eye-catcher. The intergrown crystals of the Gwindel are absolutely water-clear.

Thanks to its high quality and impressive size, this piece is guaranteed to be a highlight in any collector's display case!

The impressive appearance is further enhanced by the clearly visible twist of its a-axis. This is typically flattened and displays an elegant curve along the axis – a striking feature of this particular gwindel.

Furthermore, the surface shows a negative imprint of a no longer existing calcite band, which underlines the natural origin of this impressive piece together with a phantom formation at the tip.

To perfect the presentation of this special piece, we securely attached it to a high-quality acrylic glass base using hot glue.
